The MOvember Foundation is an Australian based, not for profit, charitable organization that implements the annual MOvember event held during the month of November. In 2007, MOvember teamed up with the Prostate Cancer Foundation to kick off its annual event in the United States for the first time.

At the start of MOvember guys register with a clean shaven face. The MOvember participants, known as Mo Bros, then have the remainder of the month to grow and groom their Mo (Australian slang for moustache), raising money and awareness along the way for men's health and the fight against prostate cancer. MOvember culminates at the end of the month at the Gala Part├ęs.

Since its inception as a formal charity in 2004, MOvember has raised over $29 million dollars globally and is continuously working to increase awareness of prostate cancer within the community and change the attitude men have about their health.

In 2007, through the generous donations of friends and business colleagues, Ray was able to raise $11,415 and contributed $5,000 from the Bayat family for a total of $16,415. Best of all, Safeway grocery stores matched this amount dollar for dollar and contributed another $16,415 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation for a total of $32,830.
